Highlights

• High-pivot suspension: Slash's main pivot encourages the rear axle to move backwards as the suspension compresses, allowing the rear wheel to move with the force of impacts and get over them faster. Slash is super smooth on the trail, carries more momentum and delivers incredible traction.
• Keep pedal kickback in check: Slash's oversized upper idler pulley eliminates pedal kickback caused by the high pivot, while its size and position also provide the right amount of anti-squat to improve pedalling efficiency. The lower pulley relieves chain tension on the rear derailleur for smoother shifting and improved suspension performance.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
