Trek Slash+ Frameset

The Slash+ frameset is an aggressive mid-assist e-MTB platform designed to excel on big lines, all-day rides and whatever other adventures you dream up. The OCLV Mountain Carbon frame is configured with high-pivot suspension and 170mm of rear travel to keep the bike planted and stable on rough terrain.

Highlights

• High-pivot suspension: Slash's main pivot encourages the rear axle to move backwards as the suspension compresses, allowing the rear wheel to move with the force of impacts and get over them faster. Slash is exceptionally smooth on the trail, carries more momentum and delivers incredible traction.
• Keep kickback under control: Oversized and positioned in just the right place, Slash's upper idler pulley not only eliminates pedal kickback caused by the high-pivot suspension but also provides anti-squat that improves riding efficiency. The integrated lower chain guide reduces tension on the derailleur, improving shifting and suspension performance.
• Mixed wheel sizes: The 29" front wheel rolls over obstacles like a bulldozer, while the 27.5" rear wheel is ready to let loose.
• Tune the suspension for peak performance: Set the leverage ratio by simply moving an adapter. The less progressive setting provides a softer ride feel, perfect for rough trails with square-edged bumps.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
