Trek Rail+ AL Gen 5 Frameset

The Rail+ AL Frameset is an e-MTB frame designed to tame the toughest rides and bring your dream bike to life. The Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame is designed to accommodate a 160mm shock and a fork, 29" wheels and a Bosch CX Line motor.

Highlights

• A better way to produce aluminium: Starting in 2024, we began replacing conventional aluminium with lower-carbon aluminium produced using renewable energy. By October 2025, almost all the aluminium bikes produced, including this one, had made the transition, significantly reducing our environmental footprint.

Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
