Reverse AirCon Formula Mega One Brake Pad System

The Reverse AirCon brake pad system for Formula Mega and One brakes adds cooling fins to the brake pads to reduce heat at the calliper. It is intended for riders who brake heavily on descents and want a cooler brake, fitted as an upgrade to their existing brake.

The aluminium fins are not attached to the pad's backing plate, so they can be reused when you change the brake pads. The brake pads use an organic compound, and the fins are anodised and laser-engraved. The set weighs 26 g and reduces heat at the calliper by up to 9%. Before ordering, check that your brake is a Formula Mega or One, as the system is only compatible with these models.

Reverse Components was born in 2004 from Peter Schmid’s passion for mountain biking and is now based in Freudenstadt, in Germany’s Black Forest. It makes MTB components, from handlebars to pedals and wheels, and works with the EFBE laboratory to test them, bringing trail experience into product development.
