Vega Carbon is the latest top-level road shoe, designed from the sole up to prioritise performance for riders at the front of the pack and professionals. Featuring a highly rigid integrated carbon sole, an innovative, ultra-breathable upper, a revised last and a more ergonomic fit, Vega meets every requirement for lightness, high performance and efficient power transfer, and is designed specifically to suit modern road bike geometry, rider positions and riding styles.

A new, natural shape
Bike geometry and body position have changed considerably in recent years. As a result, the contact points between riders and their bikes have had to evolve accordingly. Vega introduces an entirely new last with a straighter axis and reduced drop to provide a more natural pedalling feel. Vega's wider toe box allows the foot to extend fully, ensuring an ergonomic fit and improving comfort during high-intensity rides, from stage races to weekly training sessions.

Sole on the inside
Vega features an integrated full-carbon sole that increases stiffness and reduces stack height. Thanks to this advanced construction technique, the sole sits inside the shoe, concealed by the upper, allowing us to reduce stack height in the cleat area and provide full ergonomic medial support for the foot. The anatomical shape and reduced drop prioritise foot stability and support, resulting in more efficient power transfer.

Fit, fabrics and features
Vega's upper features strategic material mapping, using different materials in different areas according to the specific properties required: breathable where more ventilation is needed, supportive where comfort is the highest priority. To reduce breathability and weight, Fizik has paired Aeroweave fabric with a thin translucent mesh to create an even lighter shoe that retains its original toughness. A foot-hugging inner sleeve in perforated Airprene also provides greater comfort and a pressure-free fit, from race days to big mountain rides.

Adjusting comfort
The instep and midfoot can be adjusted separately for a personalised fit using the Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit system. Two separate BOA® dials, connected to panels that wrap around the medial part of the foot, allow riders to fine-tune the shoe's fit to their foot shape, ensuring lasting support.
