The Avid BB7 Road disc brake calliper is a mechanical calliper designed for road bikes with disc brakes. It is compatible with RED, Force, Rival and Apex levers, so check that your lever belongs to one of these ranges before buying. It is easy to install and adjust.
Choose the front or rear version according to the calliper's position on the bike. It uses a direct mount (DIR), so check that your frame or fork supports it. The rotor is not included: the manufacturer recommends a one-piece G2 CleanSweep rotor. The pads are sintered metal with steel backing plates. It delivers smooth, powerful braking.
