The Shimano M8240 pedals are platform pedals for mountain biking, designed for trail riding and everyday use on rough terrain. The platform measures 112 x 109 mm and has ten anti-slip pins for contact with the shoe.
You can adjust the pins using the two optional positions for the inner pins. The pack includes extra 6 mm and 3 mm pins and the E5 key for replacing them; further spares are sold separately. The claimed weight is 0.59 kg, including any packaging.
