The SRAM XX DH XS-797 cassette is a 7-speed cassette for downhill mountain bikes, built to shift under load when milliseconds matter in a race. Its full X-Sync tooth profile, with DH-optimized 10-24-tooth steps, makes it a good choice for riders looking for fast, precise shifting. It is compatible only with a T-Type chain, so check your chain type before purchasing. The setup cog helps make cassette setup easy.
Your choice depends on your rear hub. The XD version uses the widely used XD driver body. The XD SLIM version is designed for 148 mm rear ends, with more symmetrical spoke angles for a more balanced wheel build. Check your bike's rear-end width and choose accordingly.
