Marlin 6 Gen 3 is a mountain bike for building confidence on the trails and making woodland rides more fun. The third-generation geometry positions the front wheel further forwards and slackens the head angle, providing greater stability on steep, rough sections.
- Trail geometry: The Alpha Silver frame combines an efficient climbing position with stable handling on descents. Internal dropper seatpost routing keeps the setup tidy.
- Gearing for learning on the trail: Shimano CUES 10-speed with a 30-tooth chainring and 11-48 cassette: low gears for tackling climbs, with the simplicity of a single chainring.
- Fork and brakes: The 100mm RockShox Judy has a coil spring and TurnKey lockout. Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic brakes let you control your speed with progressive pressure.
Rack and kickstand mounts add versatility: the same Marlin can accompany you on weekend trails and everyday journeys.
Trek was founded in 1976 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, by Dick Burke and Bevil Hogg and is still based in the same city today. It makes road, mountain, gravel, city and electric bikes to support different ways of riding. Its story began in a barn, with 904 steel touring frames produced in its first year.
