The SRAM PowerLink 8-speed quick link is the connector that closes the chain without tools, designed for 8-speed chains. The supplier describes it as being as strong as any other chain link because it can be opened and closed again as many times as needed.
It's the choice for anyone installing or repairing a chain who wants a re-openable connection, also useful for those who remove the chain for cleaning. You can choose between the gold and silver versions to match your bike's appearance. Before purchasing, check that your chain is 8-speed, as the connector is sized for that number of gears.
