SRAM Road brake pad inserts are the rubber parts that replace the inserts on rim brake pads for road and cyclocross bikes. They work with aluminum and carbon rims, so you can use them with either material.

The rubber wears evenly and, according to the supplier, maximizes braking power. The inserts are easy to replace and maintain. The kit is sold as a pair and is available in black or yellow.
