The SRAM Quarq Rival XPLR E1 crankset is a single-chainring crankset with lightweight aluminum arms and a spindle-based power meter, designed for riders who want training data with a simple drivetrain. The meter measures power from the left leg and calculates total power in watts. The user-replaceable AAA battery lasts over 400 hours, and the weight is less than 40 g more than a standard crankset.
X-SYNC technology, with alternating wide and narrow teeth, provides better chain control. The XPLR chainline is designed to be compatible with Full Mount rear derailleurs. This version has 42 teeth, a 12/13-speed drivetrain, and a DUB Wide bottom bracket.
