The SRAM Quarq Rival E1 crankset is an aluminium crank with a spindle-based power meter, designed for riders who want to monitor their training data. The meter measures left-leg power and uses it to calculate total power in watts. The user-replaceable AAA battery lasts over 400 hours, enough for a season of riding. It adds less than 40 g compared with a standard crankset.
The DUB bottom bracket adds durability and simplicity. The chainrings are integrated into a single piece, with a choice of 46/33 and 48/35 teeth: choose according to the terrain you ride most often. Front shifts are precise thanks to X-Range technology, which offers a more consistent progression. The crankset is water-resistant, IPX7 up to 1 metre for 30 minutes.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
