The SRAM XX1 AXS groupset is a 12-speed mountain bike drivetrain, designed for riders looking for a MTB groupset from the XX1 AXS range. The number of speeds is the first specification to check, as it must match the components already on your bike. Before purchasing, check compatibility with the frame and other components to choose the right groupset for your riding.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
