RockShox Maxima Grease is designed for MTB suspension systems: forks and shocks with hydraulic components and seals that need smooth, consistent movement. It reduces the force needed to move the stanchions and limits stick-slip, the jerky movement you feel when the stanchion catches and releases.
It is waterproof and resistant to washout, so it stays in place even in wet, muddy conditions and helps keep dirt and moisture away from the seals. It also performs well at low temperatures and is compatible with NBR, fluoroelastomer, urethane, and silicone seals. Its bright yellow color makes it easy to see where you have applied it during maintenance.
