This technology precisely controls the amount of air that can pass through it and, above all, the amount of moisture inside that can escape. Because when you are dry, you are also warm and feel more comfortable. And when you feel warmer, drier and more comfortable, you can enjoy longer bike rides. Fabric with Ristretto technology is breathable and stretchy, offering a fit unlike anything before. The Perfetto Air Jacket is made entirely from Ristretto Lite fabric to offer maximum breathability and comfort. The fabric's stretch allows a close fit with complete freedom of movement. As this is a winter jacket, we have also added areas of extra insulation to keep you warm where cold air would be felt most. This jacket is ideal with a short-sleeved base layer on cool days and our Flanders base layer on cold days, giving you a wide range of temperatures in which to wear your Perfetto Air Jacket. You need not worry about being caught in a passing storm or on wet roads, because Ristretto Lite fabric keeps water out with its PFAS-free durable water-repellent coating (DWR). For days when you know it will rain or be damp, this jacket pairs perfectly with the Ultra Rain Cape jacket for complete protection and a close fit.

Castelli’s roots lie in Vittore Gianni’s tailoring shop, founded in Milan in 1876; Maurizio Castelli created the scorpion brand in 1974. Today it is based in Fonzaso and makes clothing for your rides, from jerseys to shorts. In 1977 it introduced aerodynamic Lycra shorts, used in racing and sold to the public.
