The cage and pulley kit for the SRAM GX Type 2.1 rear derailleur is a replacement for the inner part of the derailleur that guides the chain between the cassette and pulleys. You need it if the pulleys are worn or the cage is damaged, without replacing the entire derailleur.
The kit is available for a medium/long cage, so choose according to the cage length of your derailleur. The kit is compatible with GX 1x11, Force1, and Rival1 groupsets: check your derailleur’s series and cage before ordering.
