The SRAM S900 Direct Mount front caliper brake is designed for road bikes with mechanical brakes. It is the brand's first direct-mount road model and reduces splay force, the force that is dissipated into the frame and fork instead of reaching the rim.
The model is compatible with all the brand's non-hydraulic road levers, including RED eTap, and has clearance for tires up to 28c. The pads are cartridge-type, and the hardware is stainless steel. It is available only in black, so your choice depends on the lever you use and your tire size.
