The SRAM Maven Silver B1 front disc brake is designed for gravity, E-MTB, enduro, and trail bikes, where power and control are essential on challenging terrain. The lever features SwingLink architecture for smoother modulation, while the stiff 4-piston caliper with 18 mm pistons maintains consistent power as it heats up. Its black anodized finish and black components make it a good fit for a subdued build.
Choose the front version for the front wheel. The hose is 950 mm long: check that this is the right length for your handlebar and lever setup. The rotor is not included, so you’ll need a compatible rotor; you can also adjust the brake feel by choosing different pads and rotor sizes. Use only Maxima Mineral Brake Oil. The lever reach and contact point adjust without tools.
