The SRAM G2 RE disc brake is designed for trail e-MTBs, where higher average speeds and more weight need to be brought to a stop. It combines a G2 R lever with a 4-piston caliper derived from a gravity model, delivering the power and modulation needed for braking uphill and downhill.
The lever has tool-free reach and contact point adjustment, making it easy to tailor the controls to your braking style. Available only in black, it requires a disc rotor purchased separately, as one is not included. It uses DOT 5.1 fluid and sintered pads with a steel backing plate, while the lever and caliper are made of aluminum.
