The Reverse AirCon brake rotor is a three-piece rotor with cooling fins, designed for riders who brake for extended periods and want to limit overheating. According to the supplier, it runs 50 °C cooler after 1 minute of continuous braking and cools down 20 seconds sooner than a conventional rotor. The rotor is available in diameters of 140 and 180 mm.
The system works best when paired with AirCon brake pads. The rotor uses a 6-bolt mount and has no compatibility restrictions except for Fox 32 and QR15 x 100 mm. It is made of steel with an aluminium spider and fins, anodised and laser-engraved. It is available in silver-black and, only in the 140 mm diameter, silver-red, with colour being the only difference. Check the rotor size before buying.
