The Schwalbe Smart Sam CARGO wire bead tyre is designed for city riding, touring and trekking, especially when carrying loads such as bags or luggage. The maximum load is 125 kg and the maximum pressure is 3.5 bar (50 psi), useful figures for deciding whether it suits your bike. It is not tubeless, so it must be fitted with an inner tube.
Super Defense protection and the ADDIX E compound matter for everyday use. Choose the size according to wheel diameter: 60-406 corresponds to 20 x 2,35 inches, while 60-559 corresponds to 26 x 2,35 inches. The tyre is approved for e-bikes up to 45 km/h, without a ECE-R75 or E-50 designation: check the designation required by your bike.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
