The WTB Vulpine S is a 40 or 45 mm gravel tyre with a semi-slick profile, designed for riders who cover plenty of tarmac and hardpacked gravel. The smooth centre and short, closely spaced knobs are built for speed and predictable cornering grip on tarmac, paved forest roads and gravel. If you ride mixed routes on fast surfaces and want a fast-rolling tyre, it is the right choice.
SG2 protection covers the tyre from bead to bead with a thin woven nylon insert. It is tubeless folding and requires a rim with an internal width between 19 and 24 mm. The colour is black or black-tan, an aesthetic choice. The size is 700c: check that your rim is this size.
