Continental Ultra Sport III Folding Tyre

The Continental Ultra Sport III 700x28 folding tyre is designed for road bikes: it has ETRTO size 28-622 and PureGrip compound. Its folding bead distinguishes it from a tubular tyre, and the stated weight is 295 g, a useful figure to assess against your riding needs.

The size is 28-622, equivalent to 700x28. Before purchase, check that the rim is 28 inches and that the 28 mm width is compatible with the frame and, if fitted, the mudguards. If you are unsure about the size, check the ETRTO code printed on the sidewall of your current tyre.

Founded in Hanover in 1871, Continental is still based in the German city today. For cyclists, it makes tires and inner tubes for road, gravel, mountain biking and urban riding. Its connection with bicycles goes back to its early days: in 1892, it became the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires.
