The Schwalbe Marathon Plus Spike Draht tyre is the studded version of the Marathon Plus series, with a wire bead. It is available in two sizes: 700x40 (42-622) and 26x2,0 (50-559). To choose, check the ETRTO designation on the tyre sidewall and compare it with the one on your rim.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
