Schwalbe Green Marathon Tyre

The Schwalbe Green Marathon tyre is a wire-bead clincher tyre, made with Addix ECO compound and with a stated weight of 0.66 kg. It has ECE-R75 approval for use with pedelecs up to 50 km/h, a figure to check against your bike's maximum speed. The tyre is available in numerous sizes, to be chosen according to the rim.

The ETRTO code is the first detail to check: it must match the one printed on your rim. Sizes range from 20x1,75 (47-406) to 23-622 (700x23) and 50-559 (26x2,0), including 27,5x1,65 (44-584) and 27,5x2,35 (60-584). Check your rim size before buying.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
