The MAHLE M40 active charger charges batteries for the M40 system with an output of 54.6 V and 4 A. It is intended for anyone using the M40 system who wants to charge the battery at home, in the garage or in the workshop.
It accepts an input voltage from 90 to 264 V at a frequency of 50-60 Hz, covering the most common mains supplies. The IP20 protection rating protects against solid objects but not water, so it must be used in dry environments. It operates at temperatures from -10 °C to 35 °C, weighs 900 g and measures 187 × 90 × 44.9 mm, a compact size to keep on the workbench. Before buying, check that the battery is compatible with the 54.6 V output.
