Schwalbe SCV19-EL Extralight Inner Tube

The Schwalbe SCV19-EL Extralight inner tube is a replacement inner tube for MTB bikes with 27,5, 28 or 29 inch wheels. It has a 40 mm SCV (Schwalbe Clik Valve) valve and weighs 140 g. The ETRTO size 40/62-584/635 indicates tyres with widths between 40 and 62 mm, so check that it matches the size stamped on your tyre before buying.

The material is butyl, and the Extralight version is designed for riders looking for a lightweight inner tube, for example for races or long rides. It is only available for 27.5/29" MTB: all that matters is that the ETRTO size matches your tyre. Keep a spare inner tube in your backpack if you often ride challenging routes.

Schwalbe was established in Germany in 1973 by Ralf Bohle, with roots in the family business founded in Bergneustadt in 1922. Today it is based in Reichshof and makes bicycle tyres and inner tubes. Its name means “swallow” in German and translates Swallow, the name of the first tyres imported from Korea.
