The SRAM Rival 1 Type 3.0 rear derailleur with medium cage is designed for riders building an 11-speed road bike who want precise, effortless shifting. X-HORIZON technology eliminates unwanted chain movement: the derailleur shifts up and down faster, requires less effort at the lever, and reduces chain slap. It’s suited to regular road rides.
The medium cage accommodates cassettes with up to 36 teeth, so check your cassette before purchasing. The pulley wheels have steel bearings, and the cage is made of aluminum. This model is available in one version, black with gray details.
