The Shimano TL-FC36 bottom bracket tool is for anyone fitting or removing a Hollowtech II bottom bracket, as well as Race Face X-type, FSA Mega-Exo or SRAM/Truvativ GXP. It is made from chrome-plated chrome-molybdenum steel and has laser-cut teeth for precise engagement. Its shaped profile allows it to turn without hitting the chainstay, and the ergonomic handle helps during prolonged work.
The same tool also works with Campagnolo Ultra Torque and Power Torque bottom brackets and bottom brackets with 16 notches and a diameter of Ø 44 mm. It is also compatible with externally splined CenterLock lockrings for 20 mm and 15 mm thru-axles. For SM-BBR60, BB-MT800 and BB-MT801, use the TL-FC25 adapter; for SM-BB9000, BB93 and BB-R9100, use the TL-FC24 adapter.
