The Shimano TL-BB12 PressFit cup tool is used to fit bottom bracket cups to standards BB86, BB92 and PF41, namely PressFit Shimano HOLLOWTECH II. Its mechanism is a threaded rod press with a central guide pin. It is suitable for shells with a maximum width of 107 mm.
It requires a 8 mm hex key and a 17 mm open-ended spanner, and is made from hardened steel. Before buying, check that your frame meets the listed standards and that the shell is no wider than 107 mm.
