Avid Guide/Trail/Code Brake Pad Spacer Tool

Description

The Avid Guide/Trail/Code brake pad spacer is used when removing the wheel to prevent the disc brake pads from closing together. Insert it between the pads in the calliper: it keeps them apart even when you operate the lever.

It is designed for those who frequently change wheels or carry out maintenance at home. The tool is suitable for the Guide, Trail and Code series. The set contains 2 pieces. It is inserted and removed by hand. Remember to remove it before using the brakes again, otherwise the pads will not close onto the rotor.
