The Avid 40 IS disc brake adapter allows a post-mount brake to be fitted to a fork or frame with an International Standard (IS) mount. It is made of aluminium, with steel mounting bolts included, and is for a 200 mm front brake or 180 mm rear brake. It is designed for those working on MTB or road bikes with these rotors.
Choose according to your frame or fork combination: a IS 140 mount with a 180 mm rotor, or a IS 160 mount with a 200 mm rotor. Check the rotor size before ordering to select the correct adapter.
