The SRAM Red braze-on adapter is the mount for installing a front derailleur on a braze-on fitting, a mounting point welded to the frame. It is easy to install and remove, which is useful if you change derailleurs or service your bike.
The product is available in two versions, both in black: 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm, the latter with wide spacing. Choose the size based on your frame and the derailleur you want to install, and check compatibility before purchasing. It is designed for braze-on front derailleurs from the RED 22, RED, Force 22, Force, Rival 22, Rival, and Apex lines, so check that your groupset is on this list.
