The Youn-I cycling helmet is the ideal combination for adults and young cyclists
UN CYCLING HELMET, DA DUE GENERATIONS A modern, safe cycling helmet that caters for two generations. With the Youn-I 2.0 model, ABUS has succeeded in bridging the gap between adult and children's helmets. Adults are role models for children and should therefore wear a cycling helmet too. This can prevent many brain injuries caused by cycling accidents. However, women with a narrow head shape in particular find it difficult to find the right helmet. With its understated yet modern look, it meets the needs of many young cyclists and women looking for a helmet for narrower heads. Youn-I 2.0 impresses with its understated, urban and fashionable look that suits both generations.
Ponytail opening: thanks to the recess in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits
Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark
Protective insect mesh: keeps flies and insects away from the head without blocking the helmet's ventilation
Clip-on rear light: attaches to the back of the helmet and provides greater visibility
Two different lighting modes (rear light): Steady for continuous light and Flash for rapidly flashing light
Runtime per mode in h (min.): depending on weather conditions and how it is used, the light lasts at least 12 hours in steady mode and at least 24 hours in flashing mode
Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual helmet adjustment to suit head circumference
Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment below the ears, with a closure to secure the selected position
Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
Click buckle: for safe, practical use, the straps feature a classic click buckle (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing
In-Mold process: manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, creating a durable, robust bond
