The ABUS Urban-I is one of the best-known urban helmets in Germany and Europe. With version ACE, the Urban-I 3.0 receives an update that gives it a sporty touch.

SPORTY DA URBAN HELMET The 3a generation of our most popular urban helmet gets an update: the Urban-I 3.0 ACE awaits its next adventure with four new features. Thanks to TriVider, a significantly larger peak and a revised shell concept, version ACE of the urban helmet now looks much sportier. The extended peak gives the Urban-I 3.0 ACE a touch of mountain bike dynamism on your next city ride. The TriVider strap system also supports the helmet's sporty character. Its three outer shells allow for refined design details: one of the robust polycarbonate outer shells, for example, is attached to the lower edge of this everyday helmet, perfectly completing its look. The revised LED rear light helps you navigate the often chaotic city traffic: the helmet and its wearer are even more visible to other road users thanks to twice as many LED in the ACE version. The rear light with 180° visibility is also easy to recharge via USB. With the Urban-I 3.0 ACE, nothing stands in the way of your journey to the office or into town.

Lower edge protection: the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the helmet's lower edge and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear

Ponytail opening: thanks to the recess in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Reflective sticker: for improved visibility in the dark

Insect mesh: keeps flies and insects away from your head without blocking helmet ventilation

Rechargeable clip-on rear light: attaches to the back of the helmet and provides greater visibility; rechargeable with a micro USB cable

Four different lighting modes (rear light): choose between Steady, Power, Pulse and Flash to suit the light and weather conditions

Runtime per mode in h (min.): depending on weather conditions and use, the light lasts at least 7 hours in steady mode and at least 20 hours in flashing mode

Charging time (light): approximately 2 hours to fully charge the battery

Clip-on peak: removable peak secured with pins to protect against sunlight

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual helmet adjustment to suit head circumference

Trivider™: particularly flat strap divider with fixed strap positioning to prevent unintentional adjustments

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with hook-and-loop fasteners

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced if necessary

Magnetic buckle: the straps feature a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle that allows you to open the chin strap fastening with one hand, even when wearing gloves

In-Mold process: manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable, robust bond
