Abus - Moventor 2.0 MIPS

Like its predecessor, Moventor 2.0 is an all-mountain helmet. The MIPS version features additional impact protection integrated into the helmet. This feature gives adventurous riders even better head protection.

SAFETY SUI STEEP TRAILS Steep climbs, sprints, day trips: down country is always full of action, and your equipment needs to be up to the task. Down country involves a rapid succession of climbs and descents. Moventor 2.0 MIPS is well suited to the needs of mountain bikers. The MTB helmet is lightweight, well ventilated and has a deeper fit that gives the back of the head more protection. When the trail heads downhill, the 10 air inlets and 9 air outlets ensure good ventilation. In addition to its many features designed for off-road use, the MIPS model has impact protection. This protects the skull, particularly if it strikes the ground at an angle during a fall. Falls of this kind expose the skull to strong rotational movements that can cause serious brain injuries. With MIPS, a low-friction, movable plastic shell is integrated into the helmet to reduce rotation and better protect the skull.

Lower edge protection: the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, knocks and signs of wear

Ponytail opening: thanks to the recess in the height-adjustable fitting system, the helmet also accommodates long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits

Mips Layer: a thin plastic shell between the inner padding and the helmet shell that absorbs energy to counteract rotational forces in a fall

Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark

Height-adjustable peak: the peak can be adjusted using preset positions to provide optimal protection against overhanging branches and sunlight

Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual helmet adjustment to suit your head circumference

Trivider™: particularly flat strap divider with fixed strap positioning to prevent unintended adjustments

Comfort padding: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro

Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary

Clip buckle: for safe, practical use, the straps feature a classic clip buckle with a three-pronged connector for opening and closing

In-Mold process: a manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is foamed directly into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, creating a durable, robust bond
