During the development of GRANIT™ Super Extreme 2500, great attention was paid to achieving the best possible resistance to attacks with cordless electric grinders, as attempts to break bike locks in this way are becoming increasingly common in large cities. Our special tungsten carbide material blend around the shackle and lock body is the answer to this trend, making life even harder for thieves. The shackle, housing and supporting parts of the locking mechanism are made from hardened steel. This extremely robust, high-quality "Made in Germany" D-lock secures bikes against brutal theft attempts. The ABUS XPlus™ cylinder offers additional protection against skilled opening methods such as picking. The USH 2500 lock bracket is easy to attach to the bike: plastic-coated metal fastening straps and optional screw holes ensure flexibility. To prevent the lock from moving while riding, both ends of the shackle are firmly secured to the USH 2500. The shackle's generous locking space makes it quick and easy to find plenty of options for securing the bike. Thieves, however, struggle with this robust bike lock: here, even a cordless grinder hits granite.
