AS ELEGANT AS UN NECK DI OF A SWAN The ABUS bike lock with a gooseneck design fits elegantly around the bike frame and retains the desired shape. With its gooseneck design, ABUS has developed a shape-retaining bike lock that is highly appealing to the touch and the eye, with impressive colour and design. With a diameter of 28 mm, the tube of the Goose Lock 4204K is 12 mm narrower than that of the Goose Lock 6206K, making it particularly easy to handle and flexible. The lock body is also positioned at a right angle for more convenient locking and greater reach. The tube consists of several components: the 4 millimetre-thick steel chain, the gooseneck, the foam covering and a durable IvyTex fibre covering. The steel chain is made from specially hardened steel. The term "gooseneck" refers to two metal coil springs intertwined with each other that ensure the lock retains its shape. This allows the lock to be bent into the desired shape and wrapped tightly around the bike frame. The foam gives the lock its distinctive feel and ensures jolt-free transport. The durable, highly flexible IvyTex plastic fibre covering provides a high level of protection against abrasion and scratches. Designed to complement any bike, the lock is available in various colours for an individual colour statement.
