The fins disperse heat and help keep the temperature lower in extreme conditions to ensure stable braking power, reducing efficiency losses and noise. ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors feature an extended internal layer of aluminum with large radiating fins that increase Lcooling efficiency. Shimano ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA rotors offer an astonishing 100°C reduction in heat buildup compared to standard stainless steel rotors and a 40℃ reduction compared to our ICE TECHNOLOGY rotors. Furthermore, the fins of our high-end rotors are coated with a special high heat dissipation paint on the fins which can further reduce L'heat accumulation of 10°C.
