The Zipp Tangente valve extender in knurled aluminium extends the Presta valve so the pump can connect even when the valve barely protrudes from the rim. The knurled end prevents the pump from slipping during inflation. It is designed for riders using inner tubes with Presta valves.
The core is removable, so you can remove it for faster inflation and refit it afterwards. The body has a 3 mm hex socket: when tightened, the Integrated Air Seal system provides an airtight seal. It is black.
