Avid XO disc brake pads for e-bikes are designed for pedal-assisted bikes, where brake heat is a greater concern. The backing plate is steel and the compound is organic resin. A ceramic layer between the friction material and the plate limits heat transfer to the calliper.
This model is compatible with Elixir 9 Trail, Elixir 7 Trail, XO Trail and various SRAM Guide models, including Ultimate, RSC, RS, R, RE and T. These pads are suitable for Elixir and Guide brakes: check the model designation on your bike's calliper before buying. The pad shape is number 58 and the model code is KS-D293E.
