Fork Ohlins RXF38 M.2 Air TTX18 29 "

Developed for the trail, the enduro and the E-MTB, the RXF38 M.2 Single plate shares different key technologies with the double plate sister, the DH38

The brand new RXF38 M.2 is available for 29 "bicycles, with five different iterations offering a range of excursions from 160 to 180 mm and offset offset options of the 44 and 51 mm plate, built around the TTX18 softener, brand of Öhlins factory, and the exclusive three -chamber air spring.

The new arrival in the Öhlins line 38 mm steles in the brand's mono plate range, a frame optimized for the trail, an TTX damping that inspires confidence and unparalleled regulation. It is the product of the close long -term collaboration of Öhlins with the specialized Gravity team, winner of the UCI DH world championship, where the milliseconds earned lead to the victories.

To get the best of the performance of the double plate in a single -plate platform, Öhlins applied the lessons learned from the development of the DH38 M.1 fork, winner of the World Cup, to its latest addition to the range. The new RXF38 M.2 has an almost identical iteration of the same damping system and of the same air spring tested in the race that led the DH38 M.1 to the glory of the World Cup. With a reinforced frame, adapted to the DH38 for use on trails, equally thick strontes and the impressive regulation of the DH, the new RXF38 M.2 does not make a turn when the path turns downhill.

38 mm stems: bigger are, the better it is
The new fork boasts 38 mm diameter stems that offer greater rigidity, for a "tip and shoot" guide on the paths. With the adoption of larger stems, Öhlins has reduced the flexion where it is more important. The rigidity must not be synonymous with hardness, and Öhlins has worked hard to find the perfect flexion model - when braking, in curves and in case of impact - to offer greater control on a large spectrum of driving and soil. More control means faster and more fluid descents, but also greater comfort; The bomb -proof performance of the RXF38 M.2 make the DH routes and the well -deserved enduro descents easier, so that you can go faster longer. What goes down must go up, however, and therefore find the best balance between the downhill bomb -proof performance and the uphill feather weight was a fundamental goal during the development of the fork.

The exact compromise between DH38 and RXF36
The Öhlins RXF38 M.2 reaches just over 200 g more than the slimmer sister, the RXF36 M.2. To achieve this result, Öhlins cut precious grams by entirely revising the lower part of its predecessor, the RXF38 M.1, to find a right middle ground between the DH38 and the RXF36. The plate and the stems were also developed test on test to maximize the rigidity/weight ratio of the fork. The final result is a fork designed to float on the hills and dart downhill.

The damping of the TTX18 is able to manage the shots
When it comes to larger roughness, the very efficient air spring and the TTX18 damper of the fork combine to swallow roots and rocks, maintaining speed and adherence on the most difficult lines. The revised frame of the fork and the uncompromising rigidity of the 38 mm stems are completed by the Öhlins TTX18 damping system. Inherited from the DH38 M.1 and adapted to the single plate platform, the TTX18 damping system offers world -level performances tested in the race. The greatest bandwidth of the damping pressure allows you to improve the response of the damping valve, with a 18 mm piston optimized for the trail that offers excellent sensitivity to small roughness to maintain the tires planted on technical soils.

Impressive and simple configuration regulation
The double piston and three -chamber system of the fork allows a complete, simple and without tool adjustment, from the initial movement to the exit from the bottom. Like the DH38 M.1, the RXF38 M.2 benefits from a wide range of intuitive adjustments. Cyclists can easily develop the performance of the fork to adapt it to any ground, thanks to 15 clicks of adjustment in compression and low -speed compression and 3 high -speed compression adjustment regulation, as well as a mode setting of climb.

Technologies

TTX technology
The double -chamber TTX damping system is used on both front forks and rear shock absorbers of the premium products range with the maximum performance request. The double -room design controls the flow of bidirectional oil through the piston and double pipes. In this way it is possible to adjust the oil when it passes through the compression and extension valves and then check the pressure on each side of the piston. The rider will notice that the shock absorber unit offers unparalleled control and impeccable damping, regardless of the conditions. Öhlins has invested many hours of design to perfect the double -chamber design design and thus obtain perfect cushion.
