The new version of the Maxxis Forekaster is aimed directly at the modern short-run trail bikes (100mm-130), or the "Downcountry" segment. Exo
Exo is a resistant cutting and abrasion material added to the sides of many tires for mountain bikes and gravel Maxxis. This dense plot fabric is light and highly flexible, ensuring that the pneumatic performance remain unchanged. Choose the Exo protection for a longer duration for Gravel, XC and light riding.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless Ready tires offer the cyclist numerous advantages: the ability to use lower air pressure, which improves traction; less rolling resistance compared to a tire with a tube; And less chance of flattening because there is no tube. Tubeless Ready tires are marked by "TR" letters on the side.
Tubeless Ready tires must be mounted on tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealing have the additional advantage of sealing small drips. Make sure to regularly check the sealant and refresh it as needed as it will dry over time.
Liquid sealing must be used only in the following types of tires: street tubeless, tubular and tubeless Ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will cancel the guarantee.
