The KMC 7/8R EPT Missing Link quick link is a steel connecting link for 7.1 mm 8-speed chains. It is reusable, silver in colour, 18 mm high and weighs 10 g. It is used to open and close the bike chain during fitting and maintenance.
To choose the right version, check the chain width: this quick link is suitable for 7.1 mm chains, so it is not suitable for chains of a different size. Also check that the number of speeds matches your drivetrain, namely 8-speed. Before buying, you can compare the specifications with the chain on your bike.
