After several product design iterations and studies on the performance and wear characteristics of various types of crown teeth, the lightweight QED crown adopts a new third-generation tooth shape, developed in-house. Consequently, LTransmission and shifting efficiency have been significantly improved.

We recalculated the root, groove and tooth shape parameters of the crown and made targeted adjustments to improve Lefficiency of mechanical transition under heavy loads. The chain can thus adhere tightly to the chainring and move precisely and quickly from the small to the large chainring.

In the fastest cases, the chain can transition to the large chainring in 1/5 of a turn. This ensures precise and smooth gear changes at different speeds and in different conditions.

The distance between each tooth has been increased, and the strength between the teeth has been further improved, thus effectively prolonging the longevity of the crown. The life of the chain and crown has increased by approximately 3% compared to the previous version.

The QED lightweight chainring uses the 4-bolt 110BCD specification, which is very popular on the market, reducing weight and offering more complete compatibility.
