Lezyne Ai Alert 250 Saddle-Mounted Rear Light

The Lezyne Ai Alert 250 saddle-mounted rear light is designed for riders cycling by day or night who want greater visibility from behind. Its Ai Alert braking sensor detects deceleration and automatically changes the light mode, helping those following you notice that you are slowing down. The 250-lumen beam with wide-angle optics offers up to 270 degrees of visibility.

The body is made from CNC-machined aluminium and the light mounts on the saddle. It has several modes, including daytime flash, and a maximum runtime of 60 hours. The 1100 mAh battery is user-replaceable and charges via USB-C, with the cable not included. It is tested to the IPX7 standard for water resistance. The colour is satin black and the model is not StVZO approved.

Founded in 2007 in San Luis Obispo, California, by Micki Kozuschek, Lezyne is now based in Reno, Nevada. It makes pumps, lights, multi-tools and bags to accompany cyclists on their rides. In 2011, it began developing its own LED lights.
