Fulcrum Red Zone 5 29" wheels

Red Zone 5 is the new wheel designed for the practice of cross country and of marathon.

LThe goal of Fulcrum engineers was to develop two perfect products for Ltraining and free time, resistant and reliable for transversal use.

The hubs are new and now share the same shell as those used for the bigger sisters Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3. However, they differ in the pin and in the type of bearings: for Red Metal 5 and Red Zone 5 they are in fact used sealed, long-lasting and effective bearings, with the possibility of micro-adjusting the play via a special adjustment ring.

The Red Zone 5 feature a 2-WAY FIT READY rim with a height of just 18.6 mm and a new asymmetric section, specifically redesigned to balance spoke tensions optimally.

The width of the rim is increased compared to previous versions, to allow use at lower pressures and therefore improving traction and control in the most extreme conditions.

A new graphic - tone on tone, with a partly glossy and partly matt finish - wraps the profile of the rim in the valve area, while the traditional red box with the logo is placed on the opposite side.
