The Shimano Alivio silver front V-brake is a calliper for your bike's front wheel, with X-Type mounting on the frame or fork's V-brake bosses. It has a 107 mm arch and uses the X-Type configuration.
The included S65T brake pads have replaceable rubber inserts, so you can replace just the part that wears out. The calliper requires long-pull levers and V-brake bosses: it is not compatible with short-pull levers. Choose this version only if you need to replace the front brake, and check these two points on your bike before buying.
