The Shimano Claris front rim brake is a dual pivot model from the NEW SUPER SLR series, designed for the front wheel and rims within the 19-26 mm range. With a reach of 39 to 49 mm and a maximum tyre size of 28 mm, the brake works within a specific range of dimensions: before buying, check that the rim, reach and tyre fall within these values.
Check your frame and wheel dimensions. If any of these measurements fall outside the range, the brake is not the right choice for your bike.
